Bobby Brooks came to the Valley of the Sun in late '91 in the off season as a Professional Baseball Umpire working in the minor leagues. He started working for the Fabulous Bailey Boys karaoke company to make ends meet and soon realized that this was an industry he wanted to work in for a living. In '94, while still traveling through-out the U.S. as an umpire, Bobby managed to start a karaoke retail business with former Fabulous Bailey Boy, Jack Bailey and started his own company, UR Entertainment. It didn't take long for the business to build and in '96, Bobby retired from baseball. Since then UR Entertainment Inc. name is synonymous with quality, professional and reliable. In addition to Bobby's Karaoke/DJ company, he also been a host at major events such as, Sammy Hagar's pre-party concert tour and www.StarQuestTVChallenge.com where UR Entertainment has been named as the official karaoke company. Bobby also auditions for local and national jingles. He is singing for the USDA public safety campaign, soon to be released on TV commercials and national radio spots.
Whether if it's singing with a band, strumming guitar, volunteering for Kyrene De las Brieses Elementary School drama club or just out at one of his karaoke shows, you'll always see Bobby's smiling face around music.
